After LeBron, err the Cavaliers, went on to sweep the Raptors in the Eastern Conference semifinals, we all witnessed that extra fire burning through Cleveland.  This domination followed up a shaky opening series opposite Indiana until the King began to let loose.  It seems as if at one point during the Cavs/Pacers matchup James and his teammates were a bit exposed and unable to consistently show dominance on all sides of the ball.  But just like that, he’s back. LeBron was even caught up in responding to criticism of his team early on in the playoffs.

Watch what you wish for, especially if his initials are LBJ.  Eerily resembling a Tom Brady-esque grit, apparently if you question James once, he comes out not one, not two, but three times hungrier.  The Raptors, who held the best record in the Eastern Conference, just could not contain him as he averaged 34 points per game in the four games.  Buzzer beaters, triple doubles, and a ridiculous number of trips to the net are just a bigger picture look at number 23 and his absurd skill set on the court.  Of course, help from his teammates didn’t hurt either as Love, Korver, Smith, Green, and Hill all got in on the action.  There is now serious chatter about what’s next for Toronto, whether it be coaching and/or roster changes.

Cleveland looks to (most likely) make a couple of upcoming trips to Boston, assuming they close out Philadelphia, and face ex-teammate Kyrie Irving, where a surprising stroll through the playoffs has looked fairly simple considering an injury-ridden Celtics team.  Whatever the matchup, if LeBron and team are there, we’re here for it.  Assuming Boston secures the series, game one of the Easter Conference Finals is reportedly set to start Sunday, May 13 which is also Mother’s Day.
