After missing three straight games, Syracuse’s center is back in action. It has been reported that Fab Melo was absent from the games for academic reasons. Syracuse went 2-1 without Melo. He missed the big game against Notre Dame in which they were handed their first loss of the season. The only thing the school will confirm is that the issue took place in the fall semester. Melo did get to practice with his team during the suspension. Since Rutgers is clearly going nowhere in the NCAA tournament I will put my support behind Syracuse although I am a huge Duke Blue Devils fan.
