It’s a free agent frenzy!
With one of the year’s most highly anticipated days in sports finally upon us, the question remains as to where the NBA’s finest will end up.
Despite his friendship with Kobe Bryant and the obvious appeal of countless (16) Laker organization championships, 7-time all-star, Carmelo Anthony, may not be sold on the beautiful Southern California coast, as sources close to the Melo man say he has been otherwise “dragging his feet in the sand” with his final decision- awaiting the result of the Lebron James and Miami Heat situation.
Similarly, power forward and fellow “Big Three” teammate, Chris Bosh, has stated he too is holding off on his ultimate decision based on James. Amidst the free agency madness, Bosh had met and has now secured an offer with the Houston Rockets of $88 million over 4 years. However, he does wish to remain playing in Miami with King James, so long as James decides he again wants to claim the throne in South Beach.
With Miami and New York fans stressing over the final landing spot of their beloved all-stars, what are your predictions? Will they stay or will they go?
It’s July 10th, official free agency signing day, so maybe… just maybe by the day’s end, we will know.
