The Northwell Ice Center on Long Island was packed with Islander fans watching the future Islanders prospects play in a scrimmage game this past Wednesday.
During the first few minutes of the first game, the Blue and White team which consisted of Florian Baltram, Connor Graham, Joshua Ho-Sang, Keeghan Howdeshell, Mitch Hults, Zack Jordan, Maximilian Kastner,Colin Markinson, Kyle Schempp, Kyle Burroughs, Matthew Finn, Luck Jimmy Schuldt, Andon Song and Ryan Obuchowski, and Ilya Sorokin in goal.  While the white team consisted of  Collin Adam, Keiffer Bellows, Mathew Barzel (who was out because of a hip strain), Taylor Cammarata, Joe Duszak, Ross Johnston, Griffin Molino, Otto Koivula, Jeff Eubank, Jake Bischoff,Cameron Kuhl, Connor Lavin, Loic Leduic, Devin Toews (who is the younger brother to Jonathan Toews), Mitch Vande Sompel, and in goal were Eamon McDams and Steve Mundinger.
The Blue and White Team dominated with the 4-0 victory over the White. With Markison having one goal, two assists, Burroughs, Jordon, Schuldt, Ho-Sang all having one goal each and Song having one assist.
After the first two teams had finished the game, Blue Team 2, which consisted of Anthony Beauvillier, Michael Dol-Colle, Tanner Fritz, Lukas Lofquist, Gerald Mayhew, Jesse Graham, Petter Hansson, David Quenneville, Doyle Somerby, Oskar Stromberg, Jack Riley, Travis St. Denis, Yuri Terao, Carter Verhaeghe, Â Parker Wotherspoon, and in goal were Linus Soderstrom and Stephan Williams, stepped on the ice.
The White Team took a W over the Blue Team with a score of 3-1. Adams and Kubiak each contributed a goal; Leduc had two goals during the game and Beauvillier joined the scoring party with one goal as well.
After taking on the White Team, the Blue Team took the ice for the final scrimmage game of the night. At the end of the game, Team Blue and White came out on top with a score of 4-2. The goal scorers for that game were Schuldt, who had a hat trick, while Beauviller, Markison and Mayhew each scored one.  Ho-Sand contributed with two assists, and Hults, Verhaeghe, and St.Denis all had one assist.
Overall the night was filled with the crowd cheering and yelling to support the young players.
