We may still be in the middle of the 2018 NFL season, but it is always fun to look ahead at what is to come.  As the NFL continues to expand to an international audience, more games are being played in different countries.  Next season, four games scheduled are currently scheduled be played in London.  With two games at Wembley, two games at Tottenham’s Hotspur Stadium, all of the major UK’s betting sites will be paying attention to the games and what teams will be chosen to participate.

While in the United States, U.K. Minister of Sport Tracey Crouch spoke about the upcoming games in London telling NFL.com, “The NFL in London is going from strength to strength and I am delighted that we will have four games in the capital next year, with Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium joining Wembley as a host venue. The League brings an incredible Super Bowl-style atmosphere to the UK, with fans sporting jerseys from a range of NFL teams packing out Wembley this autumn in record numbers. I am sure the two games at Tottenham next year will also be a huge success as the UK will once again show its passion and enthusiasm for this fantastic sport.”

One thing we know for sure is the Jacksonville Jaguars will be one of the teams to play in London.  The Jags have a deal to play a game in London for the next two season, it is just a matter of opponent.  This year, the team lost to the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in front of a record setting crowd.

The NFL has sent 29 out of the 32 teams overseas to play in front of European fans.  One team that hopes to play in London is the Green Bay Packers.  The team was denied the chance to play in front of their European fans this season, but team president Mark Murphy remains optimistic about 2019 or 2020, Packers play Chargers which seems the most likely game to be moved across the pond because the Chargers’ new stadium in Los Angeles will not be completed until the following season.

Next year’s schedule will not be released until after the end of this current season.
