Add another thing NFL players are no longer allowed to do.  First it was taunting opponents, then it was using the n-word, and now players can no longer celebrate a touchdown by dunking the ball through the goal post.  This is a favorite celebration by New Orleans tight end Jimmy Graham and recently retired Atlanta tight end Tony Gonzalez.  It seems like soon the players will be unable to even high-five on the sidelines at this rate.  Some of the players expressed their outrage on Twitter when this news was announced.Screen shot 2014-03-25 at 1.53.17 PMScreen shot 2014-03-25 at 1.53.28 PMScreen shot 2014-03-25 at 1.53.30 PMThe NFL has gotten ridiculous with all of these new rules.  We all understand that you are trying to make the sport of football as safe as possible, but I cannot remember the last time Graham or Gonzalez got hurt from celebrating a touchdown.  Graham did, however, nearly pull the post down last year causing the game to be delayed as the field crew tried to fix it.  Still, not a good enough reason as to why ALL touchdown celebrations have been banned.

The man himself, Tony Gonzalez, had a few words of his own on the new rule.Screen shot 2014-03-25 at 2.16.03 PMHere is a look at Jimmy Graham slamming one over the goal post.  Soon this will be just a distant memory.
