Back in November 2019, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a season-ending injury against Mississippi State. Even though the Tide won the ball game, they lost a major asset to their offense. Tagoviloa suffered a hip dislocation which required surgery to get back out on the gridiron. A couple of days later, Tagovailoa underwent successful surgery and was on the road to recovery.
With his future now up in the air, following the injury, many fans were wondering if Tua would ever see the gridiron again. The injury played a huge damper on his career. However, with his strength and dedication towards the game that he adores, Tua is ready to do what it would take to get back out on the field.
One question that was brewing in everyone’s minds was if Tua Tagovailoa is healthy would he come back and play for the Crimson Tide in 2020, or will he opt out and enter the 2020 NFL Draft? In December, he informed the public that he would be making his decision on January 6th, 2020.
On January 6th, Tua Tagovailoa announced he would be entering the 2020 NFL Draft. With his eyes set for the big day, Draft Day, he still has a lot of preparation to overcome. With coming back from a major injury, Tua is proving that his strength will overcome his injury and his commitment towards the game of football is stronger than any injury he endures.Â
As of last week, several news sources revealed that Tua is headed in a positive direction with his injury. By taking it one day at a time, Tua will get back out on that gridiron doing what he loves most. With this amazing news, his future looks bright. Wishing Tua the best of luck on his NFL journey!
