Detroit Lions defensive end Armonty Bryant and corner back Quandre Diggs were placed on injured reserve. Bryant suffered a knee injury during Sunday’s win, while Diggs tore his pectoral muscle.

Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian was seen without a walking boot on his sprained foot, on Monday. “I’m making some progress,” Siemian said on Denver’s KDSP-AM on Tuesday. Despite this progress, the Broncos brought in quarterback’s T.J. Yates and Sean Renfree for a workout.

Kansas City Chiefs wideout Jeremy Maclin was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice. Maclin missed four consecutive gains due to a groin injury. Head coach Andy Reid is optimistic about Maclin’s return for Thursday’s divisional showdown against the Raiders.
Atlanta Falcons wideout Julio Jones suffered a turf toe injury during Sunday’s loss. Head coach Dan Quinn doesn’t see the injury as a long-term issue.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cecil Shorts suffered a serious leg injury during Sunday’s win. Shorts dislocated and tore the ACL, MCL, and PCL in his right knee after converting on a third-down catch. The sixth-year player had to be carted off the field with an air cast on.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Shamarko Thomas and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave remain in concussion protocol, as of Wednesday.
New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul will miss six weeks after he underwent surgery Wednesday morning to repair a sports hernia in his groin. JPP left Sunday’s loss before halftime and did not return to the game. After the game, he said that he wasn’t concerned about the injury. Pierre-Paul tweeted after his surgery that it went well and he’s “feeling way better already.”

The Seattle Seahawks placed safety Earl Thomas on season-ending injured reserve. Thomas sustained a broken tibia in Sunday’s win. Head coach Pete Carroll announced on Monday that Thomas wouldn’t return this season. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the veteran won’t require surgery to repair the break.
