Football players at airports have been making a lot of headlines today! First, it was Browns wide receiver Davone Bess getting arrested and now it involves New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith.
Deadspin reported that Smith started screaming at airport ticket agents after being told he and the rest of the passengers were being put on standby. The flight was out of LAX in Los Angeles and head to Las Vegas. Witnesses claim that Smith became irate when he learned he would have to wait and that is when police were called. He was then allegedly escorted by the three officers.
However, TMZ cameras caught up with quarterback who denied the whole incident. He told the cameraman, “Don’t believe that man.” He then insisted he just wanted to go home.
