One of the best rivalries in the NFL plays again this afternoon. These two teams have had some amazing games in the past. Here is Exhibit A from the last week of last season:
Now they meet again with the Packers in an unfamiliar place. At 1-2, Green Bay is desperate for a win. Aaron Rodgers has not played up to his normal expectations, which are ridiculously high as he is an MVP candidate every season. The blame cannot be totally placed on the quarterback. The Packers have had no running game this season with Eddie Lacy still looking of his first touchdown of the season. The Bears, on the other hand, have almost overachieved with all of the injuries they have suffered already this season.
Defensive end Jared Allen will not play today. Both Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey have been less than 100 percent, but have battled through. The Bears do have an emerging star in Kyle Fuller, who already has three interceptions in as many games. Packers vs. Bears- who you takin?
