The Indianapolis Colts had a major emotional loss this when they learned that head coach Chuck Pagano had to step down as he is fighting leukemia. Luckily, it is said to be treatable, but that does not diminish the hard road he has ahead nor the void left for the Colts. Most people would try and focus on treatment after getting such tragic news. However, Pagano is such a gamer that Colts officials have said that he is still heavily involved in coaching. Reports are saying that it is Pagano who will decide whether the Colts will receive or defer in the even that they win the coin toss. The Colts have started a new movement called #ChuckStrong in honor of their coach and his bravery. In an e-mail to Colts officials, Pagano reported that he is in good hands and had this for the fans, “May the 12th Man be stronger than ever. You will make a difference. Need to hear you from C23! Room at Simon Cancer Center. . . . LET’S HUNT!”
The Colts face the Green Bay Packers today at 1:00pm.
