These two teams always seem to meet when it matters. Mostly because it is in the playoffs, but this time they meet in the regular season for another big game. The Ravens are holding on to a playoff spot, but will need to win this game while the Patriots can clinch the AFC East title with a win.
While Joe Flacco got the big contract, it is kicker Justin Tucker who is making all the big plays for Baltimore. Tucker made six field goals, including one for 61 yards, against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football. He has made 33 straight kicks; his last miss was in Week 2.
While every team has been hit hard by the injury bug, none worse than the New England Patriots. After losing Aaron Hernandez and Wes Welker in the offseason, the Patriots will be without Rob Gronkowski, Kenbrell Thompkins. Not to mention all the injuries on defense including OJ Mayo and Vince Wilfork. Despite missing all these guys, Tom Brady has figured out a way to get his team back to the postseason.
This is a classic matchup between two teams who may see each other again in the near future. While Tucker has been the most clutch player on the Ravens, they will need to start scoring touchdowns instead of settling for field goals. Tom Brady always finds a way to win and kicking field goals will only help the Patriots. Patriots vs. Ravens- who you takin?
