Just hours after saying he would skip the dunk contest this season, Pacers star Paul George threw down one of the greatest dunks all season, maybe the greatest this season! George said he was invited to perform in the dunk contest during All Star, but said he will likely decline all skill events. He said he would rather rest, but that did not stop him from showing off tonight during a game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
With six minutes left in the fourth quarter, George stripped the ball from the Clippers and pulled one of the greatest 360 windmill dunks in an NBA game. The dunk got everyone off their feet and had Pacers players stunned. When asked after the game, George said, “That was a little Vince Carter-esque.” Yes, he definitely made the master of 360 dunks proud.
He definitely did though I’m sure there will be consequences for it considering the score and the fact that there’s no reason for even attempting that in a game in the first place. Perfect illustration of George’s immaturity.
