Who would have thought a year ago, the Philadelphia Eagles would be sharing a piece of first place of the NFC East? Â Probably nobody, but then again nobody expected the NFC East to be this terrible. Â The Washington Redskins head to Philadelphia for a big divisional game and the Eagles look to finally win at home. Â Something they have not done in over a year. Â They have lost ten straight home games and the Redskins look to make it eleven.
The Eagles are on a two game winning streak with backup quarterback Nick Foles playing extremely well. Â They did play against two very banged up Oakland and Green Bay teams. Â The Redskins are coming off a tough loss to the Vikings. Â Washington’s offense had its best game of the season with Robert Griffin III throwing three touchdowns, but their defense gave away the game late. Â Their defense has been a problem all season, allowing, on average, 417 yards per game.
This seems to be the week that the Eagles offense starts to struggle. The past two weeks they have cruised past their competition, but now this will be a real test for them. Â The Redskins offense has finally started to click and their passing game can really get hot against a week Eagles passing defense. Â Redskins vs. Eagles- who you takin?
