Being a Redskins fan, there must never be a dull moment since something is always happening and it’s usually an off the field issue. After the big announcement that Kirk Cousins would be the starter for this year, RG3 was starting to feel like he was second best and with good reason. Don’t get me wrong, but you have to feel bad for a guy who was the second pick overall in the 2012 draft and is now sitting on the bench, unsure if he’ll even play.
Apparently, RG3 thought it was a little unfair too and he took to Instagram or should I say…”an intern” took to Instagram to share his disappointment. The post was made by an obviously upset Redskins fan who was appalled that RG3 was benched for Cousins and shared his outrage. The post referred to Redskins owner, Dan Snyder as “a sorry ass owner” and used similar terms to describe the Redskins front office as a “sorry ass front office who couldn’t put a winning coaching staff together who could actually compete for a Super Bowl…” which is basically the worse possible thing that he could’ve liked at that moment.
When asked about the post, Griffin insisted that he was not the one who liked the post, but it was, in fact, an intern. Then he reassured that he had “unliked” the photo and took to his Instagram to defend himself. A few questions have to come to mind about the whole incident: Why does RG3 have an intern? Also, what does said intern do? Then one very important question is why the intern would have Griffin’s phone or be on his Instagram? No matter if Griffin liked the picture or an intern did, RG3’s days in Washington are really starting to be numbered.
