After much speculation that another member of the Sherman family would make his appearance today, soon-to-be dad Richard Sherman has officially confirmed it will not happen today. Sherman’s girlfriend Ashley is nine months pregnant with the couple’s first child, a son.
There was a possibility of the baby being delivered today putting Sherman in a very tough position. However, all is okay as Ashley has not experienced any signs of labor and Sherman will play later today in Super Bowl 49. Sherman joked with reporters that his son is “going to be a disciplined young man and stay in there until after the game”. Looks like the little guy is already listening to his father!
