This is definitely sad news for anyone who enjoys watching professional basketball. You did not even have to be a Minnesota Timberwolves fan to enjoy watching the sensational Ricky Rubio. The Spaniard tore his ACL and will miss the rest of the season. Rubio went down at the very end of the Wolves-Lakers game when he tried to help defend Kobe Bryant and his knee did not agree. The point guard was almost a guaranteed front runner for Rookie of the Year. That honor, at least in my opinion, will go to Cleveland Cavaliers star Kyrie Irving. He was exciting to watch and had a great intelligence of the game. He played with a cool confidence that make veterans take notice of him. The league lost a great one this season. Hopefully his surgery is successful and he returns to full form next season. I posted a video of some of Rubios greatest moments.
