Nobody wanted this to be the case. However, Michael Philibin, the son of Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator was found dead in a river in Wisconsin. The 21-year-old boy had been missing since 2 a.m. on Sunday after an outing with a group of friends about 50 miles away from Green Bay.
There was a body pulled from the river that was positively identified as the young man. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the official cause of death. The last known person to speak to Michael said that Michael did not sound like he was under duress. People from all around the sports world are coming out to express their condolences. My heart goes out to the Philbin family and all those who knew Michael.
