There weren’t any cases of the Monday blues in Los Angeles as the city unveiled a pristine addition to Inglewood, CA. SoFi Stadium doors opened for the first time to the press on Monday morning. They were able to capture what fans can expect. According to the Los Angeles Times, the estimated $5 billion project will host not one NFL team, but two. SoFi Stadium will be home to both the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams. Sitting right in the middle of the infamous Forum and the Hollywood Casino.
Before the state-of-the-art structure was in question, the Rams occupied USC’s LA Memorial Colosseum. While the Los Angeles Chargers temporarily used Dignity Health Sports Park for two years (2017-2019); making it the smallest stadium to host an NFL crowd. Even though the two teams will be sharing this stadium, there will be more than enough space with an astounding estimated 300 acres. There won’t be any trouble with run-ins.
The first indoor and outdoor mega attraction seats 70,000 people and can be expandable to 100,000. With a 120-yard television that hangs over the field with 4k resolution, there won’t be a bad seat in the house. There are various luxurious suites all ranging to fit an expandable budget with catered top tier tequila, wine, whiskey, and champagne bars.
No guests will be allowed into the stadium due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Until the City of Los Angeles officials give the green light for limited capacity, fans will have to wait a while. Although the ribbon was just cut earlier this week, So-Fi has a busy schedule ahead. Los Angeles is hosting Super Bowl LVI in 2022. As well as holding the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games in 2028. For now, first to debut are the Los Angeles Rams against the Dallas Cowboys. You can catch the football showdown tonight.
