It has been a very long and emotional week for the city of Boston, but life appears to be going back to normal. The first step was the Red Sox hosting the Kansas City Chiefs in front of their loyal fans. These fans have missed their teams and gave them a warm welcome. It began with David Ortiz addressing the crowd. He thanks all the officers involved as well as all the wonderful fans for their part in the capture of he second suspect.
Also at the game, Neil Diamond came out to sing “Sweet Caroline” for the crowd. The song has been played in stadiums across the country in support of Boston. However, it was very touching to see Fenway rocking again! The city of Boston is strong and will recover from this as better people!
