What is worse than your team’s top running back getting arrested? Two of your top running backs getting arrested…together. Sorry Steelers fans, but your team is going to be quite a pickle. Pittsburgh running backs Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were both arrested this afternoon.
A police officer pulled the pair over after the officer smelled marijuana coming from the car. When the officer searched the car, he allegedly found 20 grams of marijuana. Both were placed under arrest and charged with possession of marijuana. Bell was also charged with driving under the influence. Expect the NFL to punish both running backs, but it may not be this season.
