Mike Wallace goes back to the team he had so much success with. The Steelers do not have time to welcome back their old friend because after a loss on Thanksgiving, their playoff hopes are starting to dwindle. Their loss to the Ravens, aside from the Mike Tomlin controversy, put them in a tough spot and have to win today. The Dolphins were one of the most hyped teams before the season started, and have not lived up to any of it. Instead, their season has been filled with drama.
Everyone had heard about the alleged bullying that went on in the Dolphins locker room. On the field, that has resulted in Miami losing two of their starting offensive lineman and the Dolphins already give up the most sacks. Something, Ryan Tannehill cannot be too happy about. Now, it is the Steelers who are filled with controversy after head coach Mike Tomlin was fined for interfering with Jacoby Jones kickoff return. The Steelers are trying to put the incident behind them and focus on their game today. The Dolphins are hoping that a return to Pittsburgh will spark Mike Wallace in a very disappointing season for him.
The Dolphins are not the team people expected them to be, but the Steelers have not met expectations this season either. I give the slight advantage to the Steelers who are coming off a tough loss and will be at home. The Dolphins cannot protect their quarterback and I think the Steelers veteran defense will have a big day. Ben Roethlisberger will also remind Mike Wallace what he walked away from. Steelers vs. Dolphins- who you takin?
