The Green Bay Packers are coming off a huge come from behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Now they look to build off that win and keep their playoff hopes alive when they face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have had a very interesting season. They started off looking like a team that could no longer compete with the younger, faster teams. However, they have managed to win big games when they needed to and are now just as alive in the playoffs as the Packers.
The Packers will be without quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the seventh consecutive week. Rodgers has torched the Steelers in the past, but it will be left to Matt Flynn for the third week in a row. Pittsburgh is coming off a much needed win against AFC North rival Cincinnati. They will need to continue winning in order to even have a chance at seasoning the playoffs. They will need Ben Roethlisberger to keep playing at a high level and keep finding Antonio Brown. Brown now has 1,307 yards on the season and has become Big Ben’s number one target this season.
This matchup features two rookie running backs, Eddie Lacy and Le’Veon Bell who have both helped their teams get to this point. While the comeback was impressive, the Matt Flynn magic ends today.
