Steph Curry is easily a top 5 shooter of all-time. The Golden State Warriors point guard has a career average of 23.5 points per game with a 47% field goal percentage. Can you believe he did this all while suffering from a vision problem?
The first ever unanimous MVP admitted that he recently tried contact lenses after suffering with the issue his entire career. Can you believe the two-time MVP had problems seeing when he was shooting from beyond the arc?
Curry opened up to The Athletic that he recently learned he has an astigmatism which makes his vision blurry. Since starting to wear contact lenses, Curry has been on quite the shooting streak.
In his last nine games, he has shot 48.7 percent from the three-point line. Since March 16th, Curry has hit five threes in every game. Prior to that, he was in a bit of a shooting slump, shooting just 36.6 percent from three.
The Warriors are still in first place of the Western Conference; two games in front of the Denver Nuggets. Currently they are set to face off against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.
Good luck to anyone trying to guard the now fully seeing superstar!
