The playoffs have finally ended and we only have one game left this season. The San Francisco 49ers will meet the Baltimore Ravens in the Superdome. The two head coaches? Yeah, they sort of have a history…. let me stop building up the obvious, yes, its John vs. Jim Harbaugh pitted against one another.
The 49ers are the tough and physical team who makes you fight for every yard you gain. They were the team who switched starting quarterbacks mid season and everyone questioned their future. Instead, a star emerged in Colin Kaepernick who proved he was able to run the read option play that has become so successful thanks to Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III making defenses pay with their legs. Can Kaepernick’s ability to make big plays carry his team to a Super Bowl title?
The Ravens are the team that is riding on one of the biggest emotional story lines this season. This is officially Ray Lewis’ last game and he is ending it in the Super Bowl. He came back from a torn tricep to tell his team this was it for him just in time for their magical playoff run. He seems to have lifted his team into another caliber as they have been playing like the best team in the NFL. Everything is just going right for this team and it seems like they could ride the wave of destiny all the way to a Super Bowl title.
Who takes it in two weeks? The jury is still out, as you have emotions vs. trendy.
