If you are still interested in this story, it all started when Richard Sherman made some remarks directed at the New York Jets corner back during Super Bowl weekend. Sherman asked the crowd who was the better corner? Revis, who is recovering from an ACL injury, got wind of Sherman stirring up and controversy and struck back. Revis tweeted this out yesterday, “I’ve never seen a man before run his mouth so much like a girl. This dude just steady putting my name in his mouth to get notoriety. Sit down young pup and wait your turn.” He then went on to say that his manager has more followers than the Seattle star. Given the reaction that he wanted, Sherman went on to tweet out, “Don’t need ya name … Ur name will be irrelevant once u step back on the field bruh. Get ya picks up!” Sherman continued by comparing their stats, Revis in his sixth season and Sherman in only his second, “One season u will get 8 picks…. But it won’t happen anytime soon… I did it in my second season… So u have something to chase. Got off my flight to this hilarious convo. So I have 8 picks and 3 ff [forced fumbles] and a sack. My season stats looking like Revis career stats.” Really guys? I get it Revis you’re bored at home, but get an XBOX and play some Madden and Sherman, you don’t have much of a career yet. Neither of you have a ring so how about both of you focus on that.
