She may be a winner on the court, but Maria Sharapova hasn’t had such good luck with love. Reportedly, Sharapova and fiance, former Los Angeles Lakers player, Sasha Vujacic have called it quits. Vujacic made the news official after telling an Italian newspaper that the wedding was off.
There is no clear reason as to why the two split, but Sharapova may have been hinting at it previously. She was asked questions about the wedding during the week and refused to answer any. The most likely cause appears to be both of their busy schedules. Vujacic is busy playing basketball in Turkey, while Sharapova is busy at the U.S. Open. The couple has been together since 2010 and got engaged the same year. At least we still have Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova to root for!
