The Thunder are definitely going to the playoffs. The Lakers are still on the outside looking in, but they have made incredible strides to increase their chances off making the postseason. With Utah slipping, it seems like the Lakers will be able to secure the eighth seed. It seems like a minor miracle for a team who had so much public drama this season. If they can get a win tonight over Oklahoma City, then can show the world they could be a threat in the postseason.
However, that probably won’t be the case. This Lakers team is doing better, but it is still not better than Oklahoma City. Yes, Kobe is playing great, but he can’t win this game alone. Kevin Durant will make sure of that. The Lakers won’t win this one and if they don’t get the sixth seed they won’t win in the postseason. This just comes down to the better team and that is the Thunder. Thunder or Lakers, who you takin?
