Tiger Woods made it to Hole 13 when he realized he could not finish the rest of the course. He was 12 back of Rory McIlroy, but Woods pulled out after experiencing lower back spasms all day. It was clear something was bothering him from the start of the day. Woods was seen constantly stretching his back throughout the day.
This is the same issue Woods experienced at the Barclays. When asked about playing next week at the Cadillac Championship, he was very vague. “It’s too early to tell. I need treatment every day until Thurs to try to calm it down. We’ll see.” He left the course with his children by his side.
