Former NBA star Tracy McGrady has decided since basketball did not work out, he would try a different sport. The seven time NBA All-Star will pitch for the Sugar Land Skeeters which is the Roger Clemens pitched for just a few seasons ago.
In the press release, the Skeeters said, “Tracy McGrady is one of the most elite athletes of this era and we appreciate his interest in pursuing a life-long dream with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.”
The team is based out of Houston which was one of the cities McGrady played for during his basketball career. No word on if he is looking to start a new career in Major League Baseball, but his fastball is said to be in the low-90s which is pretty impressive.
