This morning, there was some awful news for the Philadelphia Eagles’ head coach, Andy Reid. Reid’s oldest son, Garrett, was found dead in the Eagles’ locker room while they were practicing at Lehigh University. Garrett was only 29. There was reportedly no suspicious activity. Police received a 9-1-1 call from Lehigh at 7:00 am about a deceased male found. Garrett did have a history of drug use in his past.
However, it appeared that the former drug dealer had been on the right path in turning his life around. He was there assisting the strength coaches. The team’s afternoon practice will continue with the absence of head coach Reid. Condolences go out to the entire Reid family.
