After watching the 2011 New Jersey Tournament of Champions, played at Rutgers, I came across a player with quite exceptional talent. Maybe he stuck out for his ability or his calm persona on the court, but this kid stuck in my mind. His name is David Burgos, originally from Brooklyn, NY and has played all over the East Coast. He holds the assists record for Wadleigh High School during the 2009-2010 season. He led the PSAL, a league of all New York public schools, in assists. He currently is not playing anywhere and it still boggles my mind why no one has picked this rare talent up. Not to mention, he is absolutely adorable to look at. Please take a view at the following videos as a short showcase of his abilities and leave feedback.
Don’t know if he’s still there, but he signed last July to play with ASA College, a Division I JUCO in New York, for the 2011-12 season.

I first noticed David Burgos at Rutgers Univ the State Championship game. What a pleasure to watch. I came across this site (google search) because I was curious about where he is at. I followed Herbie’s post above and confirmed that he is going to ASA in Brooklyn, NY starting the 2012-13 year. Thanks for this post. Like yourself, he made an unforgettable impression with me. Frankly, it was the best all around point guard play that I have seen in a long time! I inquired further about him and was told that was his consistent play. Wow, ASA is defintely set at the point.
From reliable source David Burgos is attending ASA for the 2012-2013 season DIv 1 JUNCO.
I found the Link to ASA Sports website. Very nice site!
