Von-MillerThe Denver Broncos lose yet another player on the field.  It has been a very rough offseason for Denver who has already lost their starting center, Dan Koppen, and are unsure how much time wide receiver Wes Welker, cornerback Champ Bailey, and defensive end Derek Wolfe will miss.  The last thing they needed to hear was that another player was looking at missing a significant part of the season.  Unfortunately, that is exactly the news they got today.  All-Pro linebacker, Von Miller, was originally facing a four game suspension after failing a drug test.  The test was not for steroids, but instead he had molly and marijuana in his system.

Miller vowed that he did not take any drugs and that he would appeal his suspension. Unfortunately, for Miller and Broncos’ fans his suspension is now turning into six games.  Miller is now hoping that the suspension will go back down to four games, but either way the Broncos will be without him for a good part of the season.  The Broncos first four games are against the Baltimore Ravens, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, and Philadelphia Eagles.

  1. The problem with drugs like molly (MDMA) is a lot of these guys think it’s out of their system right away… Well, it isn’t. As for the pot, I think all of those guys knows that it stays in your system for a while.

Six games seems a little sharp, but they want to send a message.
