It looks like one of the oddest feuds has finally ended. Warren Sapp has constantly criticized longtime New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan’s play. Despite saying he was “all hype”, Strahan was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last night along with Sapp’s former teammate Derrick Brooks.
He said that he was at the NFL Honors ceremony and ran into Strahan. “I saw Michael Strahan last night on my way going to [see] Derrick Brooks,” Sapp said. “I walked up to him, I grabbed him and hugged him and wouldn’t let him go. I said please forgive me.”
He did not say if Strahan did accept his apology or not, but he probably was too busy thinking about what suit to wear to his induction into Canton! If you forgot, Sapp had this to say about Strahan’s career, “When you stack it up, he only has four straight Pro Bowls and a mythical sack record that y’all still walk around like it’s something to be praised. “I mean y’all have got to get off your high horse in New York and speak about the real. And when you really measure him up, he comes up short.”
If you were Michael Strahan, would forgive Warren Sapp for his comments?
